Marak is a trade school graduate with more than fifteen years of hands-on experience building outdoor spaces. He is not in an office. He is the person who walks your property, prices the job, and runs the crew that builds it.

Why that matters more than it sounds

In this trade, the gap between the person who sells the job and the person who builds it is where most problems come from. A salesperson quotes a patio without checking whether a machine can reach the back yard. Nobody notices the grade falls toward the house. The base gets cut to make the number work. You find out two winters later.

When the owner prices the work and then builds it, none of that happens, because he is the one who has to live with it.

What we actually are

We are registered with Washington State Labor & Industries as a general contractor, and we carry the bond and liability insurance the state requires. That means you can look us up before you hire us, and it means you have recourse if something goes wrong. Ask us for our registration number and we will hand it over — anyone who will not is telling you something.

Being a general contractor as well as a landscaper is genuinely useful on a yard project. A lot of outdoor work crosses trades: a retaining wall that carries a fence, a patio that needs a gas line run under it, a pergola that needs real footings, a drainage fix that ties into the roof. We are not handing those parts off.

How we price

Free on-site estimates. We walk the property with you, ask what you want to use the space for, look at the things that will drive the cost — access, drainage, grade, what has to be hauled away — and give you an itemized written scope and a fixed price.

We are usually not the cheapest quote you get. The base depth, the drain rock, the fabric and the compaction that we include are exactly the line items a cheaper bid leaves out, and they are the reason our work is still flat in ten years. We will show you the difference on paper so you can decide with your eyes open.

The work we like best

Full yard transformations, where we get to fix the grading and drainage and then build the patio, the walls and the planting as one coordinated project. Those are the jobs where doing it in the right order genuinely shows, and they are the ones homeowners are still happy with a decade later.

That said, we take small jobs too. A french drain, a section of failing wall, a side yard nobody can walk through in winter. If it is in Clark County and it is outdoors, call us.
